City of Mesquite | Mesquite City Hall

Mesquite, Texas

About the project

Considered a state-of-the-art facility, the new Mesquite City Hall replaces the previous structure built in the early 1960’s. This project is Phase 2 of the master planned expansion of City facilities. The project includes approximately 78,000 SF of office and storage space, including a 10,000 SF holding facility. In order to achieve a clearly defined separation between private and public spaces, this building takes advantage of the site’s varied topography to place the public entry at street level and staff entrances at lower grades. This delineation of private and public spaces is further carried throughout the layout of each floor as public zones are established outside of secure areas.
