Making its debut during the 2017-2018 school year, the CTE Center allows students to explore interests regardless of their home campus. Some of the courses include: Animation, culinary arts, engineering, a firefighter program, fashion design classes, veterinary technician courses, advanced marketing classes, and a print imaging and manufacturing program. The center also boasts Garland ISD and Junior Achievement of Dallas’ joint venture − Biztown − a simulated city designed to teach sixth-graders about participating in a global economy.
