Lubbock Christian School | Elementary Learning Center

Lubbock, TX

About the project

As the oldest private school in the greater Lubbock area, Lubbock Christian School (LCS) began serving families in 1954 using WWII military barracks as classroom space. With the new construction of the Elementary Learning Center, the over 75-year-old buildings have been retired and for the first time in school history, all elementary students in grades Pre-Kindergarten through 6th grade are under one roof.

The Elementary Learning Center features 19 state-of-the-art elementary classrooms equipped with the latest smart board technology, improved internet connectivity, new desks and chairs for students/teachers and improved classroom layouts to increase function of learning stations. The Elementary Learning Center also features a new computer lab, music and art room, as well as 1800-SF of dedicated office, conference and resource space for administration, teachers and volunteers.
