About the project

The $25M Police Headquarters consists of a new three-building complex. The complex includes a new two-story administration building, a driver's license building that is 3,000 SF larger than its previous location, and an ancillary building to house motor fleet operations and a radio shop. The new headquarters includes a new DNA crime laboratory, an emergency operations center, and a projectile recovery tank for firearms investigations. The facility also houses the City of Lubbock Fire Marshals Office, encouraging collaboration and communication during investigations. Other amenities such as multi-purpose meeting spaces, break areas, and a fitness center provide both comfortable spaces and promotes strong mental and physical health of the officers.
