McGill Elementary School Ribbon Cutting
Exciting News! 🎉✂️
Last Friday, we had the incredible honor of celebrating the ribbon cutting at San Angelo ISD’s McGill Elementary School! 🏫✨
This project was all about transforming education—replacing aging facilities, optimizing resources, and creating a modern, student-centered learning environment. The new 62,000 SF campus now serves 500–600 students, compared to the previous 27,000 SF space that housed just 240 students across four buildings.
Key highlights of the expansion:
✅ 15 new classrooms
✅ Larger cafeteria & teacher workroom
✅ Redesigned drop-off & parking areas 🚗
✅ New playground & play court 🎾
✅ Sustainability-focused landscaping 🌱
✅ Improved emergency access 🚒
After the ribbon was cut, community members had the opportunity to tour the new facility and see how it compares to the previous one! Huge thanks to Parkhill for their partnership in making this vision a reality. Together, we’re building brighter futures—one project at a time! 💙🏗️
