Project Spotlight
UMC Health System TLC² Foundation Cancer Center
The new UMC TLC² Foundation Cancer Center in Lubbock represents a transformative investment in cancer care for West Texas and Eastern New Mexico. Developed through a partnership between UMC Health System and Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, the 120,000 SF facility is nearly three times larger than the previous cancer center and brings advanced cancer treatment, research, and support services closer to home for thousands of patients. The state-of-the-art center features expanded clinic space, dozens of exam rooms, more than 50 infusion chairs for adult and pediatric patients, access to clinical trials, and integrated patient support services, all designed to reduce the need for long-distance travel while delivering world-class care. More than a healthcare facility, the center stands as a beacon of hope, innovation, and healing for the communities it serves.
